Measuring for a new golf simulator? A common mistake is to focus on the length of the room, overlooking the importance of width. To gauge width, many players simply grab a club, proceed to the center of the room and swing. Nothing broke! Good news! But, if you are standing in the center of the room, that means the ball is going to be located three to four feet off-center of that position. Add in the likelihood of providing both left and right-handed play and it further complicates matters.
By concentrating on where the ball is to be located and prioritizing the width of the room over length, the actual space will open up a lot more. This is why we always say width saves space.
Design2Golf custom designs impact screen systems that maximize the width of a room. We do this by building a system that attaches directly into your walls to maximize the width of the room and keep the golf ball as centered as possible. All of our custom screen products are hand made at our shop in New York.
